Refund Policy

Here’s how refunds, rescheduling, and retainers work. This policy pairs with our Terms of Service so you know exactly what to expect.

Retainer (date reservation)

  • A 25% retainer is required to hold your date. It is non-refundable once paid because we turn away other bookings for that time.

Balance due

  • The remaining balance is due 7 days before the event (unless your invoice states otherwise).

Cancellations by client

  • 61+ days before event: refund of amounts paid minus the non-refundable retainer.

  • 31–60 days: 50% of the total fee is refundable (the retainer is not).

  • 0–30 days: no refund.

All refunds are returned to the original payment method when possible.

Rescheduling

  • One reschedule is allowed within 12 months of the original date, subject to availability and current pricing.

  • The original retainer transfers to the new date if no date conflictions exist.

Cancellations by RPM’s DJ Service

  • If we cancel due to emergency or force majeure and cannot provide a qualified replacement, you’ll receive a full refund of amounts paid.

Event duration changes

  • If your event ends earlier than scheduled by your choice or due to venue rules, unused time isn’t refundable.

  • Overtime, when approved, is billed as noted on your invoice.

Weather and outdoor events

  • For outdoor events, you agree to provide a safe, covered setup. If weather makes performance unsafe and there’s no viable backup plan, time lost is not refundable.

Travel and third-party costs

  • Pre-purchased travel, lodging, or rentals made specifically for your event may be non-refundable if vendors do not refund us. We’ll share receipts upon request.

How to request a refund

Email [email protected] with your name, event date, and reason for the request. We respond within 5 business days.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we’ll revise the “Last Updated” date above. For material changes, we’ll provide notice on the site.
